As to broaden my research into the opinions on tattoo culture, I interviewed my grandparents and my great aunt, to see whether their thoughts were relevant to my FMP contextual investigation. As you can see, I had typed up the transcript of the interview, and subsequently profiled them on the following page. I profiled them with the features that they have in common, as to theorise why they had negative feelings towards the topic of tattooing; ultimately, I believe it came down to their generation and Italian backgrounds, and their faith.

This idea of religion, lead me to my next phase of investigation.
